Vasculitis
Hi er21894,
Welcome to the LUPUS UK HealthUnlocked community, we offer a free information pack which you can download or request at lupusuk.org.uk/request-info...
The following information has been taken from The Lupus Encyclopedia:
'Vasculitis' is the medical term meaning "inflammation of blood vessels". When vasculitis occurs in a blood vessel, it causes decreased blood flow through the vessel and leakage of fluid out of the blood vessel. Vasculitis can occur in any organ of the body in people with lupus but is more common in some areas than others. The skin is by far the most commonly affected area and the medical term for this is "cutaneous vasculitis". To learn more about lupus and the skin, read our booklet at lupusuk.org.uk/wp-content/u...
You can learn about Lymes disease from the NHS Choices' website at nhs.uk/conditions/lyme-dise...
Best wishes!
