Hi everyone! Well I don't know whether I am suffering from post Christmas/New Year blues or if I am just getting nervous about next week's rectocele operation. I am no stranger to hospital, hospital is almost my 2nd home. However I haven't been under the knife since being diagnosed with Lupus. I am finding food just a necessity, but not really wanting to eat. I am very frustrated, getting a little snappy and sleeping worse than usual. I totally lost it today when ambulance transport which I know for definate that is was booked for rheumy appointment today did not arrive. I need to use hospital transport as being in a wheelchair and the hospital in another town I have no means of getting there otherwise. I now have to wait 6 weeks in which time I hope to be recovered enough to go to new appointment.
Dental appointment yesterday was no problem. Just hope that hubby's appointment with Cardiac specialist on 13th goes OK π Then I'm admitted to hospital on 14th for op on 15th π I have to start eating and sleeping well before then π€

You have a lot on your plate. No wonder you are feeling stressed. Take it one day at a time and take care of yourself. I had an emergent cholecystectomy (gall bladder) removal last March. The doctor gave me extra prednisone one time post op but everything went well. I hope all goes well for both you and your husband. XNan
Many thanks π π€ Just need to get rid of this dreadful cold, don't want my op postponed I've waited long enough.
Wow! Bronn, I am so very sorry for all you are going through, and all the snafus (like transport and rescheduling, etc.) It May be postChristmas and New Years burnout, but I guarantee that all this other stuff isnβt helping. Not at all. Please take several deep breathes, know you are loved, and what will be will be.
