I would never buy a mainstream fragrance because they are full of chemicals.

However dose anyone have the experience of flare up from an all natural essential oil fragrance from a nice independent essential product shop ???

Thank you.

All perfumes I struggle with . I can’t stand the smell around me they make me feel ill. The only one I can use is She by Emporio Armani . & that’s because I can’t smell it in myself !

Yes! I have not been able to tolerate perfume or cleaning products since I became symptomatic years ago. I discovered natural perfume about fifteen years ago. What a joy! There are so many great natural perfumers out there now. Diptyque is easy to get and they have wonderful candles too.

Happy to give you more suggestions.

Enjoy!

I never put ANY perfume on my skin but spray it onto my clothes and enjoy it that way. Have been doing that for many many years and so far no ill effect from any perfume I fancy. Xx

HI, I use organic perfume have done for a decade or more. They are not as powerful as chemical ones but have lovely scents price wise they are cheaper than a lot of brands out there

I react very badly to mainstream perfume. I used to wear it occasionally but then became sensitive. Now I am sensitive to anyone else wearing it. However, there are perfumes on the market which use natural essential oils. I have found I can tolerate, in small doses, products from one particular company - which uses natural oils, the products are strictly vegan and they don't use nasty chemicals. I am not sure whether I am allowed to put in a link here, so instead, recommend you type Eden Brighton into a search engine. They offer a huge range of 'dupes' and at very reasonable prices.

Yes, I have that problem, too. I researched it and discovered that most essential oils have an added carrier, as perfumes do, to make the scent last longer. It is such a tiny amount that they don't have to list it in the ingredients. Oils or perfumes labelled organic don't have that, and I can wear those without getting symptoms.

Please don't put essential oils on your skin. They are not meant to be used this way and can cause irreversible skin condition. I saw it myself. Looks ugly.

OK....would you be able to reiterate on this please ?

Are you talking about cholasma ?....a reaction to sun while chemicals are on the skin ?
