Has anyone ever had elevated CD3+, Cd4+, Cd19+ or CD56+ absolute blood results elevated?

Thanks for any insight.

CD3/4/19 marks lymphocytes as opposed to granulocytes (neutrophils, eosinophils, basophils)

CD3 marks cytotoxic T cells, killers

CD4 marks helper T cells, snitches of the immune system during invasions

CD19 marks immature B-cells, still undergoing target practice for invaders

CD56 marks natural killer cells, first line of defense against any invasion

Elevations in these populations without an abnormal elevation in any one population may suggest a state of active/chronic inflammation. Many of these cells would be stimulated by inflammatory cytokines - interferons, interleukins, etc - which run high in many autoimmune disorders.

These markers suggest that your cells are at least maturing properly but are being riled up. Given the CD19 elevation, I’d maybe suspect viral but it’s just a guess not made with any certainty.

Hope this helps in any small way to provide you with some additional insight!

Thank you! The CD3 and CD4 have the most elevation. I am not sure that particularly matters here. And I know immunology gets quite complicated. CD19 was attached to like three others in a string (I dont have it in front of me)! Thank you so much for taking the time ;)
