Hi, just wondering if anyone has swollen glands which they attribute to lupus (or any other autoimmune condition) ?

Hi, just wondering if anyone has swollen glands which they attribute to lupus (or any other autoimmune condition) ?

I had swollen gland in my neck before I was diagnosed had to go for scan as it was size of golf ball and had it for more than 4months - was diagnosed the year later with SLE after years having sinusitis problems
Hi Becky, Yes your glands swelling can be from lupus because as we have auto immune disease, lupus is fighting our bodies everyday. Therefore we are more susceptible to infections. I am sorry your are not well, I would see or call your Dr if swelling persists.Better to be safe than sorry. Hope you feel better soon. peace blessings thestorm
I always seem to have swollen glands under my armpits and near the breast tissue. No idea why.
Whwn did you last have a mammogram, including a scan of your Axilliary glands? Just a thought.
I had that last december, The breasts. And they were fine. Does that cover the axillary? Thanks for the idea!
I should ask to have them scanned as I don't think the mammo covers that far round. although if your latest mammo was clear you are probably OK. It's just that I had BC which started in my left breast but spread to one of m lymph glands. Better to be safe than sorry, as you have enough problems already.
Agreed and good point. Thanks for the idea.
Hi Becky , i have Sjögrens, prior to treatment all my lymph nodes were enlarged, particularly in my armpits which were very painful. I still have a problem with this but its not nearly as severe . Best wishes 🌸
