Help please

Hi I’m new here

My daughter in law age 24 has mixed connective tissue disorder and I’m looking for a centre of excellence in the North West England as I’m not happy with the care she gets.

She’s in a mess today in acute phase (and she has a 1 year old) seeing GP even went to A and E as she is in so much pain especially chest - but has to wait 3 weeks to be seen at local clinic and had no access to specialist nurse. It’s terrible!

I’ve seen the Kellgren Centre Manchester

Do any of you have any experience of going there and how good it is?

Or can you recommend a centre

Hi, your doing such a lovely thing by being so supportive to your daughter in law!!

I go the Manchester hospital, they are amazing!! I have Lupus, and 6 other auto immune diseases, 7 years I’ve been fighting to see a specialist, I got referred by my Gp( I live in wales) and within a few weeks I have been seen twice, and have 4 appointments for in depth tests next month! They have given me more info and helped me to understand the conditions I have and given me hope that I will be able to have a more improved lifestyle than I do now. I highly recommend the Manchester lupus center of excellence!
