I met Polly Atkin at a poetry reading last year. I was reading the following today and thought that it was worth sharing:

Best wishes Kevin

Many thanks Kevin...must have been wonderful to meet her! Polly tells it like ot really truly madly deeply is. I’m so glad she is speaking out for us all, and being heard.

Thanks Kevin53.

Powerful.

Makes me want to punch the air in a joyous 'YES’ and scream / cry /shout in despair...all at the same time.

Now lodged on my desktop (her website, not me).

Thanks Kevin

She describnes an uncannily similar experience to most of ours, doesn't she? I like "being mutant", and may use it in my next consultation. x

Thank you Kevin. I’m recently had a visit to a new physio who said I was hyper flexible. Of course they are the ones most likely to notice. I am, but not on the EDS scale. Even so, why don’t others even ask? I’m wondering if this hyper flexibility has anything to do with my digestive system just gradually becoming less functional. Polly writes very well! I’ll certainly follow her.

I loved her expression of having an Ayra Starke like list of Doctors Who Where Wrong
