Migraine and taking tramadol

I have flashing lights a bit a a sloght headache. I was wondering if i can take tranadol. I have 50mg capsule. I am alone and a bit scared too. Can anyone give me some advice please.

I dont think any of us on the forum can give advice, except to suggest you ring 111. They are on duty 24/7 and usually pretty good. Hope you feel better soon x

Hello! As to Tramadol, I simply did not like the side effects. I have found that most physician prescribed drugs just mask some pain but don’t do anything for the REASON for the pain. I found a rheumatologist who discovered how out of vitamins and minerals my body was: I got high doses of Vitamins D and B and some minerals and felt much better. It does not happen over night...there are no quick fixes when your body is depleted of so much, but the end result.is feeling better. Have your Dr. check your vitamin/mineral levels first though, before taking anything. Many Drs just plain go for the quick ‘bandaid’ I am afraid.

I wouldn't take it for that. It's not the right sort of painkiller, and the side effects often include a rebound headache.

Hi ullass I too have suffered with migraines and have tried tramadol which only made me feel more sick. I would also suggest calling 111 to get advice.
