Hi Besticanbe73. I have sinus tachycardia (normal rhythm) and waiting for result of echocardiogram today. I have no arrhythmias so can’t help inform you from my experience but presumably you’ve had a 24 hour holter monitor already to tack your heart rate / rythym over a longer period. Next step for me was the echocardiogram. I believe a small proportion of lupus patients (15%) have some sort of heart rate /rhythm issue but in most cases it’s not a significant concern. But worth getting fully investigated. Wishing you well
Thank you for your response. I only had the ECG on Friday and haven't seen anyone to discuss results yet. Seeing Prof Dcruz on Weds. About five years ago my GP told me he thought I'd had a silent heart attack based on ECG but then never followed through with any other info. I've got copies of those results and Friday's to take with me this week. Something isn't right as I've had neck and left shoulder pain for about 8 weeks with intermittent chest pain. I also keep jumping myself awake at night. 🙄 About 8 weeks ago I had what I thought was severe indigestion, heavy pressure in my chest, lasted all evening and was very painful, now I'm wondering if it was something else. I guess I'll have to wait until Weds.
