Hey Tash1987,

It's okay to feel how you feel. Dealing with Lupus can be frustrating as you have so many emotions and often feel like no one understands. Have you tried to join any support groups near you? If work doesn't get it, have you thought maybe to get some information so the employees can read up on it- if they know about your condition then maybe you could try it?

I totally get it as I have my days of wishing I never had it, resenting it so much. Just take each day at a time and know that the next day will be better. Not sure if you've been feeling this way for a long or short time but if it is a long time do try talk to your docs.

Hope you feel better. x

Thank you so much for your message , I will get the information and give it to my Work place, but honestly, I don’t think they really care, it’s all about working your self to death for them, which I’m considering on leaving the job soon, on the emotion side I have talked to my doctor about it and she stated that I was suffering from depression, which is a common symptom when you have lupus, I’m not taking any medictIon for it because I don’t want to feel like a zombie or that I need to depend on a tablet to feel normal, plus I’m already taking so many tablets.

It’s hard which I know you understand, I just wish for more good days than bad, mans to be more confident and happy with my self, once again thanks for your message.

I'm in the boat with you on the depression front. It's difficult but there is a way out. Have the docs tried to refer you to counselling? It may help and also if he/she could give you a note for some time off. Then maybe you can do a phased return to work so you only do a few days. Work have to accommodate you in that through HR department. Or maybe see if you can shorten your days so you have some free time to just rest or something.

Work can be uncaring at at times with their lack of understanding or like you said they just don't care. Try to make it work for you as you are important and all this stress can have an impact on your wellbeing. Try to do a small thing daily to make yourself feel a bit happier whether listening to a fav tune or getting your nails done. Just for a moment it may help you smile. Sending hugs.
