Just wanted to share some thing a bit cheery hope you all don’t mind.
After feeling pretty crap all week and my mind going mad and my fingers googling when they should know better I decided to chill out today and try and keep the brain quiet and the hands busy.
The result some homemade birthday cards for two of my lovely friends and two great colleagues at work who have been really supportive since I was diagnosed last year
Can anyone tell I’ve discovered Pinterest - next up Pom Pom cupcake garlands 😂🙈

Those cards are joyous, your friends and colleagues will be stoked to receive them, very personal and they represent effort, which is not easy with Lupus, so seriously well done Helen. But oh dear, did you have to mention the word .......cupcake, now I want one!
I love your cards, it's a great stress buster isn't it to lose yourself in something creative?. I make them too and love it. Sorry your a newly diagnosed lupie , hope your treatment is starting to work and look forward to seeing your next project!. P.s I'm a Helen too!. X
Looks wonderful! Perfect decoration for a tea party too.
I am a big fan of Pinterest for kid's crafts (youth group leader). I really love a melting beeds thing I found. Adapted it to make colourful keyrings. A bunch of the kids still have them on bookbags.
