I had a issue that was similar about 18months ish ago.
It came on quite quickly. Every so often it would just go dead. I now can't remember the last occurrence.
Someone I saw at the time suggested it could be low blood pressure related.
Whatever it was it seems to have resolved or gone quiet again.
The first time it occurred I was trying to remove some items from my wardrobe. I tried to raise my arm but it just felt dead and didn't raise. A completely dead limb. I had to raise my arm with the other as I couldn't control it on its own.
It's perfectly fine atm.
I have no idea if this might be so with you.
Thank you for the reply Although I have got some numbness my main problem is that the middle fingers have instead of curling in have curled out from my knuckles has anyone heard of Jacobs Lupus
Notoverthehill jean
Hi notoverthehill ,
Could you possibly mean Jaccoud's arthropathy? This is rare, but can occur in lupus and it changes the shape of the joints in the hands, causing deformation.
Thank you Paul
I’m so pleased to get this information The rheumatologist is doing a full medical heart nervous system and X-rays and I am waiting on a date for my latest rituximab infusion got great consultants and will see what shows up I was sure she said Jacobs Lupus so after looking it upon internet This is exactly correct Thank you
Not overthe hill but nearly over
Jean
