When u feel so exhausted and fatigued does anyone else get where they feel like they cant get enough air in or breathe as effectively and feel like they have to take a big deep breath in now and again??
When I get such awful fatigue I get this and it’s not like shortness of breath or wheeze or asthma or anything. Maybe it’s where I feel so drained and exhausted that I just breathe more shallow than normal or forget to breathe properly.
I’ve hardly done much today (Sunday) and I am in bed already at 5pm! I just can’t do a thing.
It may just be me as I get quite anxious but wondered if it was simply the fatigue?

So, this just happened again to me the other day. Again hard to swallow and felt like it was closing up. Called the doc. In my case he thinks it’s the tendons that are inflamed. It did happen after a particularly intense PT session, so I’m thinking a micro flare.
I too have bouts of feeling there is something stuck in my throat when swallowing. I tried everything for first Acid Reflux then Tonsillitis and sucked on every available lozenges out there, but I’m afraid to no avail. I’ve yet to find what it is but still experimenting so if I find a cure you will be the first to know!
Well I recently went to see ent dr and he put a camera down my nose to look! Yuk
He said there was no pathology meaning no growths or anything which I suppose is the thing I was worried about being an ex smoker. I’m otherwise not overly bothered just wanted to know it was nothing awful
That’s good news for you, I’m so happy nothing sinister was there. So I will keep sucking on different lozenges and trying different mouth washes and let you know if there’s anything to report! There is one thing though, my breath is 👌😃
I just need to drink a lot when I eat. I’m wondering if it’s something like sjorgens as I get dry eyes and mouth and I wonder if it could be a lack of saliva when I swallow food. I’ve had my tears tested before with the litmus paper but that’s it and that was fine. I do have the anti ro antibodies which I think can be with sjorgens
Just lately I’ve had to keep peeling my tongue off the roof of my mouth it’s horrible x
Yes I feel the same and there are days when I feel like that constantly. I also have trouble swallowing even water! I had tests done and there was nothing sinister, my Rheumy said it could be caused by sjogren's cause at times I feel like I'm choking even when I'm not eating or drinking and have tried drinking warm water with a bit of honey. It works at times but other times not. Hope to hear from someone here who is managing this.
Lots on line about this, always best to practice breathing through the nose and not the mouth. Easy to say, harder to do. With practice it’s more efficient and provides an efficient filter as well...
