Interesting reading. I will need to read it again to take it all in.

I had been discharged by my rheumatologist as I was no longer complaining of joint pain but concerned as I am due to come off Humira ( given for scleritis by a hospital outside Wales). My quality of life for the last 2 years has been superb as it’s obviously helped with joint issues too.

Hi Kevin53 ! Thank you for sharing this doc. I didn't know about it... I've been trying to find all possible info about Lupus in Wales, where I live. I'll read it just now. I saw it's from Nov 2016. Let's see.

Thanks for sharing, will have to have another go at reading it all, but from scanning it, very little direct reference to lupus which is disappointing.

I know this is an old post, but I don't think their figures are very accurate or at least don't reflect real waiting times. I had my first rheumy appointment in March 16, after a 10 month wait and was meant to have a follow up appointment with the consultant in 6 months . . . I finally had an appointment with a specialist nurse in March of this year - 18 months late.
