Today I had an optician appointment as I felt my vision had decreased and I was right. Two new pairs of glasses one for distance and one for reading and quite a change from a year ago. Nothings ever straight forward is it. Next appointment with the doctor what’s how no to come up there?

It is important to remember there are many ways that eyesight can be affected; regular eye checks can help prevent eye complications from occurring.
According to The Lupus Encyclopedia, people who take hydroxychloroquine for more than 7 years can have a 1% to 3% chance of developing hydroxychloroquine retinopathy. However if detected in early stages, usually no symptoms occur. Hydroxychloroquine retinopathy is rare.
