Research into diagnosis of autoimmune disorders and why it takes so long

I posted this on the Hughes Sydrome site about a month ago. Following my own experience of being initialy told that I had depression, FND etc, I decided to conduct a piece of research into why it can take so long to get correctly diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder.

If anyone might be interested in sharing their experiences, please let me know. I cant collect data as such yet as still waiting for university agreement on the method.

Do hope you get the funding for this research as it would be good to do!. Very important to find out why these illnesses take so long to diagnose!. Hope your having a happy Christmas despite your own health problems and keep us posted. X
