I attended my GPs surgery on 19th September for bloods, as ordered by my Rheumy. Usually done at the end of Rheumy appt, but she wanted fasting bloods.
Anyway, my veins are pretty good. No issue finding it. 7 lots taken. Small bruise. So that's 2 weeks ago?
Last night, in bed, I noticed my arm was tender and a bit itchy. I eventually rolled up my PJ sleeve and I had a small lump. Where they take your blood. Not bruised. No burst vein. Just like a bubble under the skin. I was half asleep & tired. I should have taken a photo.
Today, no lump. But I am aware of it, if you know what I mean. Still feels tender and like I could itch it and itch it. But resisting.
But it's two weeks since the blood was drawn.
Any thoughts??? Bizarre. Never had this before. Not sure if it's significant or not. But very curious. As I always am.
Thank you.

She said that sometimes you can get is it phlebitis?
But as it has cleared up, it's just one of those things.
Like, the lumps on the bottom of both of my feet, that cleared up themselves after 7-10 days.
Like the tinnitis I have had recently.
Or the facial pains I have had.
Or the lip sores.
Or the styes.
She said, it was just one of those peculiar things about me, we might never know why.
Let's hope the sore/lumpy blood test site thing doesn't happen again. I am not good with bloods and have to have a stern word with myself about being a grown up, when I do ahve bloods taken. So I am going to be anxious about this next time.
