Anyone on here need methylated vitamin b?

I'm starting MTX and I forgot to tell my Dr I can't process normal B vitamins. He gave me folic acid to take along with it. I'm just wondering if I need the methylated version? Does this make since or am I crazy? Pleas advise if you are the same.

You need to take folate with MTX to reduce the side effects. Probably the best person to ask about this is a pharmacist - the duty one, not the counter staff - or even call the hospital pharmacy and ask them.
