Had my driving lesson today. It seemed to be the best lesson so far. Doing more independent driving not asking so many questions. Hopefully i'll be ready for August.
Had my pre op today as well. Everything was fine so tooth op is 22nd june.

Sounds like you are doing well.
I retook my driving test in Oct 17 last year, due to medical assessment needed by DVLA and passed with flying colours last test done 40 years ago, the next day I had a molar extracted in hospital. Strange you are driving and having a tooth op around the same time.
The independent driving was not part of my original test but I found it ok and had taken 5,refresher lessons which helped. The assessor said that if you get lost following signs he said to let him know and he would help as sometimes road conditions change with unpredictable roadworks.
Fortunately I was ok.
