Thank you Paul! I completely misread the name of one of the advisers, Donald E Thomas Jr. and wondered what the new President of the United States knew about diet and lupus. My brain is a bit foggy!
Seeing this is really helpful for me at the moment. I'm doing all I can to gain, or at least, not lose, any more weight in the healthiest way possible.
Just solved a huge problem for me by a roundabout route .. been trying to work out how I'm going to carry all of my info in to my pip tribunal with crutches and without it being used against me. Clicked on the link for finding equipment and there amongst items for shopping is a cross body strap with a hook on the bottom for carrying bags .. a yoke shopper it appears to be called. Problem solved. Thank you!
That's great! Hope you find it helpful. Let us know how you get on with it because other people may want to get one too.
I've got what used to be called a 'sling pack' - all the bike couriers in the US used to have them in the 90s, it goes across the shoulder and under the opposite arm, and it doesn't throw your spine out of alignment as the bag rests on the back. You can get a lot in it too, and still have free range of movement. I use it rather than my purse if I need my crutches that day.
