I have been diagnosed with osteoporosis and offered denusobab. Has anyone any experience of this drug please?

I get 60 mg of prolia/denosumab by injection every 6 months and my Dexa scans are good and normal. I know of no side effects and have no complaints. I've been on denosumab for about 2.5 years.
Not personally but I know 2 people who have been on it for over 2 years.
One is a lady in her 80s who suffered fractured vertebrae after being on alendronic acid for years - the specialist told her it had done nothing for her. She was put on denosumab and is back to ballroom dancing and bowls!
The other is a lady in her 70s who has been on longterm pred and developed osteoporosis. She's now into her 3rd year on denosumab, has had no problems at all and her bone density is now OK. She had a hip replacement without problems last year and has just had a knee done.
I have been on it for 18 months since I broke 3 ribs when I picked a pen up off the floor at the end of a physical and painful night shift. I am 50 now but have been on prednisone for almost 19 years. I am due my first scan since commencing the treatment around about October. The ribs took over a year to knit. I still have pain in the area.
Hi
I have been on this since June of last year I have no idea what is happening with it as I have had no scans since last year so whether it is making a difference I couldn't say but i have had no side affects from it and that is always a good thing. I do hope it makes a difference as I am still on steroids so possibilities of further breaks. I wish you all the best with it and hope it helps.
