SGPT (ALT in the UK) of 52 seems to be within normal bounds. You need to check with the doctor, though because each lab has its own ranges for blood tests.

You don't mention whether other blood tests are normal or not. An increase in SGOT/SGPT (ALT/AST) usually show damage to the liver but the doctors don't get excited if the increase is slight, only when when the top range is exceeded many times over.

other tests r nrml xcpt platelate count which is a bit less

Mine is 52 says HIGH but im in US the levels next to it say 0-32...Learn something from you in every post Purpletop :)

I agree with Purple top. Generally combinations of high or low results are indicators of problems. Also repeated bloods may show more. Simple conditions we all get can cause fluctuations in our bloods, then they can stabilise.
