I do what little I can...

I have a water filter device, and just recently went off of GMO'S. Im quite excited about the GMO thing because I got instant positive results!! not kidding. I would recommend analyzing all your food ingredients (pain in the butt, I know) but I feel it has a direct impact on the autoimmune reactions. Do not underestimate the power of a juicer, and fresh vegetables (organic if you can still find them) loose as many chemicals around the house. we cant change the world obviously, but we can have small baby-steps control in other ways in our lives that promote a lot of power within ourselves!

Totally agree - I've been on a war path regarding pesticides and herbicides and growth hormones. It's more expensive and a pain to source everything but you get less waste and delicious food as a result.

My husband likes gardening and he would not spray or use anything but organic/natural products to help the plants fight pests. So we have lovely organic onions, garlics, parsnips, beans, tomatoes (which I freeze for the winter months to use in soups etc).

Everywhere we look things are chemically or genetically modified. The use of growth hormone in absolutely everything in our food chain is unbelievable. No wonder there is more and more autoimmunity in the world. And endocrine issues.

I recently had a mains water leak outside the house. The house is 1930s and the pipes are likely to be lead. I even had the GP to check for lead poisoning, just to make sure.

I agree with you - eliminate artificial stuff as much as possible and then the body won't get confused which is which.

a thousand 'amen's. my philosophy is that all these un natural chemicals that have been bombarding us for over a hundred years is actually triggering a mutation in our systems. all this lupus that we call sickness isn't really a sickness but its our own natural system responding to change. to bad I know, I wish things could go back, but the truth is humans and every other species continually evolve to suit the atmosphere they live in. and since the environment and atmosphere have changed constantly since the beginning of time, our bodies, easily change with it. now people are beginning to wake up to this. maybe....if we are lucky we can get some of the unnecessary money greedy crap (huge profitable corporations) out of our lives for good because if the chemicals don't turn us into some weird creature, the thought of wanting all the money and power will turn us into a worse creature.
