Itching only at night

I couldn't seem to figure out Why I am itching at night but seeing guys post have helped me. Thanks

Hi Randa, I was really itching 3 weeks ago and it was waking me up at night and most likely I could not get back to sleep. I got a blood test and my glucose elevated so high due to I ate some kind of fruit that high on sugar, she orders me to stop drinking, which I used to have one or two cocktails on the weekend and get a gluco test after a month. It'd been 3 weeks, I had been drink artichoke tea to detox my liver, i also stay away from fried food and eat easy digest foods. Idea to not make my liver works so hard.The itch seems to calm down, i also eat lotus seed soup at night to help sleep

at night. So far, I am sleep good at night.

Have your doctor check on your liver if it is a case. I am also diagnostic skin lupus a year ago.

I itch a lot but especially at night. I've always suffered from dry skin / eczema but since the lupus diagnosis it is definitely worse. My husband tells me off about it. I have made myself bleed at times. I am trying to put cream on after every shower and if it itches at night re-apply and resist the urge! I am also drinking more water in the hope that will help. Sometimes I get that as well. My physicians here in the states cannot figureit out. I am a nursetoo

Very annoying. I saw the skin doctor on Thursday last and she said it was the Lupus.
