I use sunsense sun sensitive 50+ which is really good, but I don't getting on prescription. I'd be interested in other responses! How do you go about getting it on prescription? I saw both my rheumy and dermatologist this week who both emphasised the importance of wearing sunblock when outside but neither mentioned that I could have it on prescription. Can I just ask my GP?

I use sunsense 50+ on prescription. They do not however do the face one which is tinted on prescription. I get that on Amazon for about £14. The tinted one is sunsense 50+ face.

I personally wouldn't bother with the prescription sun creans as they are like glue, leave your skin white and sticky and mark your clothes. I stock up at the end of summer on reduced creams ready for the next year but that's just my opinion.

Hi

I don't get sunscreen / cream on prescription. I use ultrasun they do different versions / SPF factors. But it works great for my skin - over sensitive. It can be a bit pricey but it definitely works best for me.

Sunsense that's the best and will not burn your eyes. It must be a factor 50

Sunsense is very wearable and not at all visible. I need to wear heavy makeup and I find Sunsense makes a good basis. Smooth it lightly over the face, let it 'set' for 10 minutes or so. I get free pescriptions because of my age but why pay more than you need

. Of course a 2 for 1 is a good buy. Don't keep opened sunscreen over until the following year, but why not wear it all year round. Of course the best sunscreen is sun avoidance!

I have Sunsense Ultra 50+ on repeat prescription. I didn't know it was OK as a base for make up or that they made a tinted one - more good advice. Thank you all.

I ordered the tinted facial sun sense 50+ and it is great as a base for make up. £20 with p&p for a 75ml tube. Thanks for the tip!

Hi I would like to know if sunsense is suitable for rosacea
