I will suddenly get food intolerances to food or medication. I have had to stop taking medication for Arthritis even though I have been on it for years.

Hi there, I have intolerances to Gluten, Dairy and Caffeine. Though I've only been tested for Gluten.

For years I had bad stomach problems, with lots of nausea and sickness, and found it hard to keep any weight on. When I stopped these foods my stomach never felt better and I put weight on. I also added a few foods that had anti bacterial, viral and fungal properties like coconut oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic and sea salt and drank lots of water.

I am still looking at my diet being more healthy. I rarely eat sweets anymore and don't eat a lot of meat. I also try and do some juicing every day.

Different things work for different people. I seen a YouTube video once where a woman with a rare immune disorder...can't remember what it was called now....got cured by a Vegan diet. Also I have heard of being being cured by a raw food diet.

I also take vitamin d3 supplements and they seem to help with aches and pains and depression.

All the best. I hope you find some things that help.

Hi there, I was struggling with food intolerance years before my SLE diagnosis. I am intolerant to wheat and dairy plus allergic to eggs and caffeine. I am 2 months into following a Vegan diet and have given up alcohol - BORING! I'm hoping for a big health improvement soon, that or a large glass of wine :)

I'm convinced I do I have microscopic colitis now so going to try gluten free to see if it helps. My stomach is so bloated & uncomfortable all the time. Just hate this feeling anything to feel better !

I am trying to go Gluten Free. Not easy. I love sweet rolls with cinnamon sugar. Just made a batch...Oops! Not only is gluten free food expensive, but hard to swallow. I don't like rice flour, but I am trying. I like my sweets as you can surmise, and made gluten free chocolate chip cookies yesterday. It came all prepared in a box already and I added apple sauce instead of butter. They are not bad. But gluten free bread is very flaky, and I don't like it much. I also tried gluten free bread crumbs in my meatballs and it tastes funny too. I have not tried gluten free pasta yet. I have it in my cupboard, but have not tried it. My intestinal problems do not like all the beans in these gluten free meals either. I am definitely having a hard time with the change in diet. I try to eat a lot of veggies and some fruit. And at times still feel nauseous here and there. We can only do our best.... Good luck!

Strangely I have a severe intolerance to oils and butters, including olive oil. I have a pretty severe inflammatory response to oil but have never seen anyone else with this. Anyone else on this forum have this issue?

I have been diagnosed with Coeliac disease as well as lupus, so cannot have gluten.
