facial swelling

I find that when I have the rash on my face, my face swells up, esp under my eyes. Any ideas??

When I'm in a bad flare my malar rash is so red it's unbelievable and parts of my face swell too (although not greatly so - it tends to feel worse than it looks) , usually across my nose and in the typical butterfly area/pattern - but if at all concerned - get it checked. All the best.

could be reaction to steroids, if you are taking them
