hi everyone,can anyone tell me what is a noduel on lungs? and a cyst on kidney mean?.would this be the cause of always having water infect?.

went into hospital about 9 months ago,bad chest pain, didnt no if it was heart,pe, had a ct scan,dr said i had a nodual on left lung, didnt explain what it is, said had to have ct every 6 months,went back into hosp 3 months later(chest pain again)had ct scan again, doctor told me i now have one on right lung. have to go back for 6 monthy ct,scans

Three years ago I had a ct scan for renal cancer. It also found a nodule in my left lung of 6mm. I had two ops for the cancer and I have regular scans to make sure I am still clear and the nodule always shows up, unchanged. I read a lot of people have these and they do not cause problems, only being found at post mortems when death is from another cause.

Ask for the radiologists report from the consultant's secretary if you are still worried. They will have made a comparison to your previous scan and you will see if there is any change.
