Finally had the call for my first appointment. But still have to wait another 8 weeks. Gutted as I've already been waiting so long. So, what's he like?
My mum is keen to get me seen at London Bridge faster than that, but I don't know if this is wise. Any thoughts please?
Thanks all x

I think there are two Dr Lewis' at St Thomas'. I was recently referred to St Thomas' and saw Dr Myles Lewis. I found him to be a very nice doctor, easy to talk to and very through.
You are spot on with your opinion of Dr Lewis. I just hope I get some treatment soon. Initial apt was today and had loads more bloods taken. I should be back in 4 - 6 weeks to get the lowdown on where in the "spectrum" he thinks I am.
Phew - it is Myles. So desperate for my appointment. Having a bad flare right now: joint pain and IBS, not to mention extreme exhaustion. Hope I can manage Christmas without taking to my bed.
