hi i take tramadol to but you can take paracetamol with it i sometimes take it at night
I also take tramadol, but my rheumy prescribed amitriptyline, one only on going to bed, this helps quite a lot x
I have amytriptyline to relax the nerve endings at night, to help me sleep. My GP put me on tramadol hydrochloride which is a 12 hour slow release, as the normal tramadol left me feeling nauseous, and also I was timing and waiting for the next dose every four hours, the 12 hour one helps me.
Maybe have an appt with GP to discuss what will work best for you and your symptoms.
I take tramadol, codydamol and amatriptyline at night I can also take paracetamol

Hi there Debby,
Just like the others I take Tramadol every 6 hours for pain and 50mg Amitriptyline at night to help with the pain and to help me to settle down to sleep. I also take Pregabalin which I am told is also to help with pain and Morphine patches which I change once a week. However, I do still suffer with stiffness and pain in my knee joints which I am waiting to see a musculoskeletal specialist about them.
If you go back to your GP or Rheumatologist perhaps you can see if they can put you on Amitriptyline too and see if it helps you.
xx
I take tramadol with paracetamols ad they work fine for about 4 odd hours
Hi there. I'm on Tramadol every four hours with slow release morphine morning and evening. Also 50mg amitriptyline at night.

I take two tramadol night and morning,50mgtabs. I take one solpadol four times a day as the tramadol doesnt seem
enough. Still have lot of pain do not know if I could take some more tramadol.
Morphine patches and paracetamol (really know if I've missed either) morphine patches can be troublesome leading to withdrawal when the adhesive fails and the patch lifts, or too much when it gets hot. Won't have a problems with the latter for a few months now though.
thanx all seen my gp few days ago and she mentioned morphine but I was a bit worried but I see few people use so gonna give it a try thanxs all x
