prednisolone (steroids)

Hi everyone iv bin on steroids for 5 months now and iv realised I keep getting a thrush? Thrush as in down below Has anyone else experienced this? And hw often? And is steroids the reason why you get thrush?

Don't think it's directly linked to the steroids but I found that because my immune was so low which the steroids don't help that I had awful thrush and urine infections for a few months I used a number of different thrush treatments and I haven't experienced this since it's nearly been four months so there is a light at the end of the tunnel

Dc told me I'm getting thrush often is coz of the steroids, she give me treatment and when I use it, it gets better but then a months or 2 later iv got it again? Don't make any sense to me? Y I keep getting it? And it's makes me feel so low

I get what I thought was thrush but they think I have sjogrens too which is dry eyes, nose and down there and when it's dry down there it can cause an imbalance and cause thrush etc. I use replens which is a moisturiser for there to stop the dryness and itching. It's so horrible isn't it?

I'd don't seem dry to me it's just sore and it gets better after treatment but then cums bak again afew months later? It's awful and it make me feel so low down not like iv got enough other problems to take cear off
