Where is the duke head? I stay in London and would like to come with a friend who also has lupus. Give me d full address so I will c if we can make it.
That's a shame, if arranging this event doesn't totally finish me off maybe I will think about doing another one one day. I'm struggling a bit right now and have companies letting me down with promises they made being broken unnecessary stress and an afternoon spent in A&E today it is not a great day, trying to avoid morphine as I need to try to keep my brain clear but might have to give in soon. Arghhhhhhh My brain hurts!
Hi The address of the Dukes Head is 53 Crayford High Street, Crayford, Kent. DA1 4HH, it does have it's own Facebook page if you are interested in looking. It would be great to meet you and your friend
Hi all, I would just like to say thanks if anyone did get to come along to my fundraising day, unfortunately I didn't make it as I was - once again in hospital, I was in there for a little while and came out the day after the event. My children and the landlady of The Duke's Head along with several bikers still made sure the event went ahead and at the moment we have collected £560.00 with more to follow. I have contacted LupusUK and will send them a writeup and some photos so hopefully it might feature in the November News and Views. I am so proud of my children they had been coming up to London to Kings to see me on the train, going to work and taking over all the organising of the event. Thanks again if anyone did manage it, if not maybe I'll do it again next year and hope to be able to go myself!
