Where can i get advice??
Hello Toya
Are you in a Union? If not join one immediately. Other than that the CAB can be useful.
I AGREE, MY UNION IS HELPING ME OUT AT THE MO. YOU CAN BUT TRY BUT MAKE SURE EMPLOYERS DONT BULLY YOU INTO DOING SOMETHING YOU WILL REGRET.
HI As said above Union and don't be bullyed. Good Luck.
they should make reasonable adaptaions for people with a dissability and access to work may help fith funding for some othe the changes try looking up access to work. if you need a special chair or equipment due to pain/ fatiuge.
they even provided taxis to work so i didnt have to catch he bus greatly reduceed the fatigue hope they can help.
Definately make sure you are a member of a union. I have paid my subs for 20 years and did not think I would need them for health reasons like this but I am so glad I have someone on my side. Also if you have an occupational health then make an appointment with them. They are bound by confidentiality and may be able to help. Good luck.
I was a member of a union and still got bullied so bad I ended up leaving. However, i was able to get adaptations to my work station which helped and it also took a lot longer for them to get me out with the Union Rep's help. At least with the good Rep. The first was very much of the "let's wait and see variety" and I believe a forceful hand is needed against bullying. It was not uncommon to happen to ppl with 'un-seen' disabilities at my place of work which happened to be a London Council office. Join a union and get advice. Good Luck.
