Finally at the age of 46......

Having had the most extreme water retention and time in bed 10 days a month on and off nearly every month since age 13, repeated pericarditis, and inflammed lungs and other things, finally Lupus has showed up...I have been asking for years.. alongside Hughes Syndrome, which I also worked out, and then approached the right professional about. Alongside sjgroens, hypothyroidism and psoriatic arthopathy, the only meds I have are asprin and co codimol... was offered the quinnine based stuff, but then the medics decided against it on account of how severe my psoriarisis is. Working hard on diet and exercise and taking the right things but I think I may have a severe allergy to my PCT!

Hello There

I also had to wait a very long time to get a proper diagnosis. The Quinine stuff -Hydroxy has been a life saver for me, and if you can tolerate it then it is worth the initial side-effects.
