Hi Tonkinese

Welcome to the forum where we hope you find support and encouragement.

For some people it has been found that when the immunotherapy treatment has finished, it continues to work in the immune system for up to 4 months on average.

It may be different in New Zealand but in the UK we follow up with routine scans to assess the outcome of the treatment.

It is understandably a concern as to what happens next when treatment has finished and it is best to discuss this with your oncology team what future treatment options there may be.

You may or may not be aware of the lung cancer charities in New Zealand and I have placed some below, as our health care system and guidelines may be different to where you live:

cancer.org.nz/cancer/types-...

healthpoint.co.nz/community...

anzlcnf.lungfoundation.com....

All the very best
