Hi all. I wanted to say thank you so much to everybody who have supported me on this forum. You are all going through your difficult times but still found time to help me because I have been going through an emotional crash ! I am still in huge amounts of pain but thanks to all of your advice, I saw a different Dr. and insisted on having my knee's Xrayed and also insisted on seeing an Orthopaedic Consultant to check to see exactly what is happening with the Spinal fracture's and find out whether there is cancer there. I am now waiting for an appointment for the Xray's and both Dr.s now know that I can't bear this pain for much longer!

Why do we have to get desperate before they will listen. The Dr. today said that I have had a terrible time at the hand's of our hospital! Well....yes ! Anyway, thank you all SO much. I wish that I could give you all a big hug.

For anybody who has just found this site, I just want you to know that the support you get from everybody here is so heart warming and will help you through.

Much love to all,

Danni xxx

Hello Danni54,

It is good that your Drs are now listening and admitting that your experience with the hospital was not great, hopefully lessons will be learnt for the future. I hope that now going forward they will now be able to find the cause of your pain and be able to concentrate on getting it under control.

Our forum on health unlocked really is a great place for support from others who are going through a similar experience.

Kind regards

Hi Annie just seen your post, I am so relieved for you someone is helping at last, and l hope they can try to control your pain cause you can’t keep going through it 24/7, it’s soul destroying.

Let us all know how things go for you.

Sending love Tarax

Hello Annie

All I can say is you deserve to get everything moving after what you've been through.

Like I've said before our stories are very similar, with diverticulitis and IBD.

I'm just out of Christie's again with diverticulitis and severe dehydration whitish delaying my chemo by 3 months now. I suffer the the most terrible spine/back pain which they CT scanned and said it a pulled muscle. I may ask to see a orthopaedic consultant.

I'm due a CT scan of thorax abdomen and pelvis on Monday I'm so frightened in case it's spread.

Recent brain scan showed mets on left side of brain gone after gamma knife radiotherapy but another met has popped up on the other side.

Ah well it's definitely to defeat me, like you say the heart warming support we receive on this site is sometimes all we need to help us through another day.

Keep in touch and sending my love.

Pam

Hi Pam. What a horrible time you are having and I so sympathise with you and Tara with the Diverticulitis. I'm going through a bout just now and am very tired so I'm going to write to you tomorrow. Meantime, I'm sending you the biggest ( but gentlest ) hugs and loads of love. Am off to have a dollop of Oramorph but I just wanted to say thank you for the support and let you know that I'm here for you too. I really wish that I had a magic wand.Hope you manage to sleep and more tomorrow.

Much love ,
