Boring practical question to lighten the mood. Any lung cancer survivors out there struggle getting travel insurance, or is it not factored in?
Thanks guys

Hi Ian_cee
The attached link gives information of travel insurance companies and specialist brokers from (page 32 onwards).

Hope this helps.
Regards from the ‘Ask the nurse’ team at the Roy Castle helpline.
I found MIA good, I think they specialise in people with health problems. Worth trying them. Sometimes you can end up going round in circles depending on where you are with your treatment answering lots of questions and then being told no insurance or very expensive. It can be very frustrating. Good luck
I am hoping for 2 weeks in ibiza nothing to get giddy about but wow some of the insurers are so unhelpful I had quotes starting at 868 I am 1 year post surgery and holiday for next year ...same as the cost of the holiday eventually found medicaltravelcompared they are quoting 244 much better but I too am going to try Roy Castle suggestion.....
Hi looked at a lot of companies and in the end used Boots who I found very competitive but took nearly 1 hour to go through it over the telephone but may have all changed now due to Covid good luck x
