I have this feeling that successful stories with sclc only concern person who has brain Mets. How about those you have liver Mets?! Or other mets?

Dear Majandra_3

Sorry to hear about a secondary cancer in the liver. For some there are options of either Immunotherapy or Targeted therapies as treatment and this is detailed in this link from Macmillan Support:

macmillan.org.uk/cancer-inf...

There is an online forum for liver cancer where you may find some shared experience and encouragement:

community.macmillan.org.uk/...

The British Liver Trust has some good information on treatments:

britishlivertrust.org.uk/in...

This link is an online community support, run by patients and families for secondary lung cancer and have some interesting information on the Immunotherapies and Targeted therapies being used:

smartpatients.com/about

Do not lose hope, as new treatments like Immunotherapies and Targeted Therapies are starting to benefit different types of both primary and secondary cancers.

Hope these links will help you find some encouragement and if you wish to discuss anything you can either email us at lungcancerhelp@roycastle.org or call our freephone nurse led helpline number on 0800 358 7200

All the very best
