Need some support for a new development in my on going treatment for lung cancer. Two weeks ago I finished my 2 three day treatments of adjuvant chemo. Was looking forward to recovery after 7 months of treatments. Then I went for a walk and my right calf began to tighten and ache.
Thought it was adema (water) but after 2 ultrasounds they discovered a clot behind my knee. Now on blood thinners for 3 months. Not a happy camper.
Anyone who has experienced this your advice would be appreciated. Thanks so much. God Bless you, SteveO

Sorry to hear you have had a set back with a blood clot in your leg and unfortunately for some this can be a side effect of chemotherapy.
It is good it has been caught early and can be managed well with your medication.
