Hi, I would like to thank everyone who has replied to my post, it makes a difference being able to speak with people who have been through what I will be going to have. As a nurse, I have nursed so many people with different kinds of cancer, some until their final hours, but when it happens to you it's such a shock. I never realised what it did to you mentally, I could treat the physical symptoms but not what they were going through inside their head. If I ever get back to nursing I will really appreciate what they are going through. Also I didn't know how long the time scale would be from diagnosis to actual treatment, the weeks worrying if u are going to die, or can u be treated is terrible. Can I ask if anyone had back pain prior to their surgery, I am taking care of co_codamol but not helping it. So many questions going round in my head, will just be glad when I finally get word to see surgeon and get a date for my operation. Thanks everyone who replied, means a lol x
