Well I met my consultant on Tuesday with my wife and we went through the procedure.

I couldn't get biopsies as the lung would bust plus it would take a while for the results.

My surgeon had stated instead of taking away a third of the lung he gave me a chance, he had a controlled frozen pathogens in the operation room while I was under, he removes 2 segments containing the tumers and tested them there and then, they were found to be benine non cancerous.

What a fantastic end to 7 harsh weeks.

I had VATS surgery on Wednesday morning, up and walking Wednesday night-tubes-pipes and drains out this morning, I'm on the mend 😢 very emitional happy ending.

Thank you for posting this. Great news. I love this photo...really made me feel happy too. And reminded me how relieved I am to be past all that hospital experience myself at last. Hold on to your joy. When normal life resumes so easy to forget this wonderful moment.
