The cytology results concluded changes consistent for adenocarcinoma primary from lung. But i do not have any nude bin my lung. I did not have any simptoms. I am so scared and do not know what to do. Doctors say it it stage 3a and it is not pisible to have surgery to remuve lymph glands. Pet scan shows only significant uptake in 2 glands and no any metastasis. Can somebody help and advice me. Dear danchekoleva,

I am so sorry to hear about your recent diagnosis.

When you see the oncologist tomorrow he will have discussed your individual situation with other members of the multidisciplinary health care team and will tell you how your care will be managed.

You will have many questions you will want to be answered. I have attached a link of booklets which you may find useful, for example living with lung cancer and information about radiotherapy. If you get a chance to read them before tomorrow write any questions you may have. If you still have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact our nurse led Helpline Freephone 0800 358 7200.

Kind regards,

All the team at the Roy Castle Helpline.
