Am I allowed to give my deceased fathers Crizotinib away? It costs thousands and I have almost a full bottle of it. Seems like a real waste to just throw it away. It expires in 2019.

Hi I would ask your GP or a pharmacist where you can hand this medication in . It needs to be handed over to make sure it is disposed of properly and that it dosent get misused .
Regards
Jane

Hi lessons17 sorry for your loss of your father. The response from Jane is correct, to take this medication to your local pharmacist or GP for safe and proper disposal. It is a strictly regulated drug and should only be used if prescribed by a specialist and under their supervision.
If you wish to discuss anything you can call us on our free nurse led helpline number on 0800 358 7200
