hello all, below are details from a research project looking for men who have viewed support services as part of managing their cancer. Please use the contact below if you are able to assist.
Male cancer patients are invited for a research, which aims to examine the impact of non-clinical services on their wellbeing and to explore the reasons why they use non-clinical services less than female cancer patients in general. Male cancer patients age 18 or above who participated in non-clinical services, like those provided by Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, meet the study’s eligibility criteria. The study involves two phases: a 30-60 minutes personal interview and a 15 minutes self-completed online survey (The link for the online survey will be provided after the New Year). Participants may choose to take part in either or both phases. Personal interviews and online survey are planned to be completed by June 2018. If you would like to participate or should you have any questions, please contact Dr Dahlia El-Manstrly, dahlia.el-manstrly@ed.ac.uk and Ms Qian Wang (phone: 07864663537), s1477963@sms.ed.ac.uk.
many thanks
Lorraine
