Hi, I hope you don't mind me posting. NICE is looking for people who have received NHS treatment and care for lung cancer, and their loved ones, to help us update our lung cancer guideline. If you, or someone you know, may be interested in joining the committee please see this webpage: nice.org.uk/get-involved/jo... Many thanks, Erin

Hi

My Mum has had treatment and care from NHS in relation to her lung cancer. I familiarised myself with the guidlines which aligned with Mum's treatment plan. I think the biggest problem with lung cancer apart from the obvious don't smoke is the poor performance of GP doctors not considering the referral guidelines when classic symptoms are presenting in their surgeries.

Kind regards

Mark.
