Frankencence oil, has anyone tried this.

Hi All

Has anyone tried Frankencence oil and if so did it help at all and would you recommend this or maybe something different. I have had Chemo and Radiotherapy but not sure what other options are open to me and would be very grateful for any help at all please.

Hi Gary I have had two rounds of chemo 4 times and radiotherapy but that can only do so much I have not tried frankencence oil but I am however trying cannabis oil and really feel it's helping with the pain from damaged nerves including some suppuments

Hi Ann, many thanks for your reply it's greatly appreciated. Have thought about cannabis oil but it seems very complicated to know what to get. I'm glad this seems to be helping you a little help at this time. I will look further into this and again thanks for the reply.

there are many complimentary therapies available which are suitable for cancer patients and can help ease the side effects of treatment including aromatherapy and acupuncture. Below is a link to an article from Macmillan which gives helpful and informative information.

Before starting any complimentary therapies have a chat with your lung cancer support nurse or oncologist, just to make sure that what you are taking wont effect or interact with your current treatment.

I have been using it for brain mets & tumour. I had chemo which didn't seem to do much because of blood brain barrier. Read that Frankincense oil can cross the blood brain barrier & is also a anti cancer oil. Thought it as worth a try & have been using in the back of my head for some time. Is it working? Difficult to say, but I have had very little symptoms from my brain cancer since original diagnosis 7 months ago. I am now nearly off steroids, taking 1 mg per day. Also taking Boswellia orally, which is capsule form of Frankincense & is an anti inflammatory.

I have also been taking CBD oil from word go plus other alternative therapies. Once again-are they working? I don't know, but I am still around 18 months after initial lung cancer stage 4 diagnosis, when I was told that I wouldn't be & everybody tells me how well I look.
