I was sorry to hear that you have breathlessness and it's causing problems. I do hope that the steroids help and you are soon feeling a bit more chipper.
My cancer returned in December and I am now 1/2 way through a 4 cycle treatment plan. They have told me that they no longer expect to cure it but hopefully stablise it. I feel tired as I expected on this treatment but thank God no vomiting which I suffered from dreadfully in Cistplatin - they have changed that to Carboplatin.
You're right, this is a crappy illness and one which seems to think up new ways of getting round the treatment.
Keep positive Lainey - I'm thinking of you and sending a whole shed load of strengthening hugs.
Sorry to hear your cancer has returned, long may your treatment keep you going as they are no longer able to cure. I have been told mine is not curable either so we are in the same boat.
I am constantly tired and have to rely on my family now for getting me out and about and dressed as suffering a lot with the secondaries. Cannot even make dinner now, just falling to pieces lol.
Hopefully the breathlessness ceases and I will get some respite. I hate this illness it is one chronic pain in the posterior lol.
I hope you tolerate the remainder of your treatment and send you huge hugs, positive thoughts and healing my friend.
Oh my dear Lainey what a terrible time you are having - my heart really does go out to you. I hope that the steroids work and you get some relief from these awful symptoms.
You're quite right we are very much in the same leaky boat.
I send you hugs, prayers and very positive thoughts. Please do keep in touch.
