Hi all arrived back home after another day at Christies, had a pick line put in today cannot go thru a day like I had last week trying to get a cannulae in, it was so painful had 2nd lot of treatment so far so good with side effects....

Hi Sheeni,

The pickline option is a good one. Just make sure that the nurses look after it properly so it doesn't get blocked. It will need flushing with saline and heparin (an anticoagulant) after every use.

I'm booked in for weekly flushes this is 2nd time round, was booked in to have a port fitted but was unable to get the line in so hense the pick line, thanks for the advise...
