We are in the process of compiling the Autumn/Winter "Inspire" magazine and are looking for suggestions for our "hints and Tips" section on living with lung cancer. If you would like to see previous suggestions go to roycastle.org/our publications/inspire magazine.

Please post any suggestions here and we may include it in our next edition.

Although I do not have lung cancer now, as I had my right lung removed nearly 2 years ago, When you are first diagnosed it is quite daunting.

The one tip I would recommend if possible is delegate a member of your family or a friend to be with you as a spokesperson. Two pairs of ears are better than one. Also there are questions that are easily forgotten to be asked about if you are on your own.

As the patient it gets very tiring , and its good to hand it over to another person at times.

Thank you very much Jillygirl for your tip, this is very helpful and much appreciated. Will ensure that your tip is included in the Autumn/Winter Inspire Edition.
