I have a small growth on my adrenal gland which has apparently grown over the past few years, it is being investigated, has anyone else had this?

I have had an adenoma on my left adrenal gland for years that does not change depending on which radiologist is reading the scan. A new spot started growing on my right adrenal and has been radiated. This one caused me pain and continues to do so. Depending on how much your growth is, I would just keep an eye on it. Does it light up on a PET scan?

I had a met to my right adrenal gland. We radiated it but it kept coming back. I had three different chemo courses and I finally asked why not surgically remove it. Have had no further issues for over 5 years.

How many times did you radiate the adrenal gland? My pain is through the roof and I am living on Advil and Tylenol.

My recollection is 3 to 5 sessions. After it started coming back they tried two different rounds of chemo and each time it started growing. I pushed then to remove it surgically and after a few months they did. Have bee cancer free since November 2021.

That is wonderful news Marc_M! I don't think I can have mine surgically removed being stage IV. Going to see if they will radiate again after I finish the radiation for the lymph node I am doing now. Mine are 10 sessions each time.
